Falbrav a possible for Leopardstown´s Champion Stakes.

Juddmonte International winner Falbrav has become the latest to join the list of possible candidates to run in the Champion Stakes at Leopardstown on Saturday week.

Trainer Luca Cumani has stated that the Champion Stakes is now a 'possible' target, while Patrick Barbe, representing part-owner Teruya Yoshida, said 'Falbrav could well be running in the race.'

The race is likely to see the clash between many of the world´s top performers, with Epsom Derby winner High Chapparal, Irish Derby victor Alamshar, Dubai World Cup winner Moon Ballad and Paddy Mullins´ Irish Oaks heroine Vintage Tipple already possible candidates.

Christophe Soumillon, meanwhile is looking forward to riding the Aga Khan´s Alamshar in the race, stating 'I feel privileged that the prince has chosen me to ride one of his horses from overseas.' Soumillon partnered the Aga Khan´s Dalakhani to finish second to Alamshar in the Irish Derby earlier in the season.
